Dorel Juvenile Supports Healthy Kids Day With Car Seat Check
Dorel Juvenile’s Foxboro office helped make our local Healthy Kids Day in Foxboro, MA a success this past Saturday with several employees volunteering their time to this great cause. The Hockomock YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day attracts a large number of families each year with a day full of various activities focused on safety, education, and fun. It’s a great venue for Dorel Juvenile to promote child safety and helps us focus locally on our mission to care for precious life.
In attendance were: Daniel Dias, Hannah Dwyer, Scott Horton, Lynn Matthews, Ryan Hawker and Lauren Santilli.
As a Community Partner in the event Dorel Juvenile held a car seat safety checkpoint in the parking lot outside of Patriot Place. Families were encouraged to bring their car seats to our area for a check and had the ability to speak with a certified car seat technician (CPST) about proper car seat installation. Families also received useful child passenger safety tips.
Daniel Dias, Brand Ambassador, and our very own CPST Instructor was very happy with the turnout. “It's an amazing way to give back to our community. We were happy to also have CPSTs from local town’s fire departments and police stations on hand. It’s a great feeling to know that we’ve made a difference and kept more children riding safely. We really appreciate everyone’s help with the event!”
